The Kneeling Shepherd sculpture embodies the devotion of the Nativity. Carved in the centuriesold craft of Val Gardena, the child has lowered eyes and hands joined in prayer and humility.

A soft, pastel palette features peachbeige skin, muted green clothing and a burntorange hat adorned with a green leaf showing prominent veins. The handmade, opaque finish lets the subtle grain of the wood remain visible for a unique appearance.

At 10 cm, the figure is carved from maple wood, offering sharp detail and lasting durability in the Dolomite sculptural tradition.
