This magnificent sculpture of a Desert Dromedary captures the essence of travel and the Orient, enriching your nativity scene with a touch of authentic realism. The figure is depicted in a stable and upright pose, typical of laden animals, and conveys an expression of calm and patient strength.

Attention to detail is evident in the richness of the hand-painted harness: the terracotta red saddle cloth contrasts with the underlying fabric, a delicate mint green, decorated with minute stylized symbols that recall ancient Middle Eastern motifs. The bundles in ochre yellow and antique pink tones are skillfully defined, lending a sense of depth and realism to the load.

Crafted with the mastery that distinguishes Val Gardena artistry, and available in sizes between 6 cm and 15 cm, this sculpture is entirely carved from maple wood. This wood is the preferred choice for works smaller than 56 cm, ensuring precise details and a smooth surface perfect for the hand-colored finish. The dromedary is also available in natural and three shades of brown finishes, allowing you to choose the perfect expression for your Christmas scene.
