Gospels: An Expanded Translation by Kenneth S. Wuest is a scholarly, literal translation of the Gospels that prioritizes following the Greek word order and uses additional English words to convey the richness of the original Greek text. It is designed as a companion to other translations, providing a more in-depth and nuanced understanding of the New Testament for those who wish to delve into its original language. Wuest’s work is highly regarded for its detailed, literal approach, though some critics find it complex or subjectively interpretive.
